Foreword

The loyal servants of God at Wheatland United Methodist Church welcome you to join in the celebrating of the 150th anniversary of the start of this Methodist congregation. Our Lord has enabled members of this household of faith to continue spreading the Gospel through all the "ups and downs" that have come to this region west of the Trinity River:

We acknowledge our debt to the Lord and our predecessors in the faith for our presence here today. As we enjoy this event, please offer prayers of thanks to God for the diligent efforts of the present congregation and many others who contributed to bringing about this time of remembrance and celebration.
